    Question 81 - Geocentricity

    Dear Dr. Sungenis

re your publication 'About scientific (& theological ) aspects of Geocentricity.'

As a traditional Catholic attempting to teach apologetics to my grandsons, I hope to introduce them to the subject of Geocentricity soon.  I have no training in astrophysics and would be most grateful for any help from a traditional Catholic who is extremely competent in this  science. May I refer to the above mentioned publication?  On page 28, on the topic of 'Earth at the center' it is pointed out that the aether is also referred to by such scientists as Hawking and Wheeler  as 'spacefoam'.  The extract continues that ''All agree that it contains ultramundane particles at the Planck dimension''

My question is- is there a consensus amongst scientists in general on this point, and  do we Creationists KNOW that it is physically possible for this aether/spacefoam to carry the stars and planets around the sun as it in turn circles the earth, or do me merely hope that it is?

                                                                  Yours sincerely

                                                                   Peter Mercer

    R. Sungenis: Peter, first let me say that I am pleased to see you delving into the area of geocentrism. It is a topic that, if people would just read the evidence, they would be able to set aside their prejudices and really learn something fasinating about the cosmos. Most reputable scientists (e.g., Einstein, Mach, Hubble, Hawking, Hoyle and many others) have already admitted, on the basis of physics, that they believe gecentrism as a viable alternative. They are just afraid to endorse it because of the theological and philosophical implications, namely, if the Earth is in the center of the universe, then Someone had to put it there, because it ain't going to happen by chance.

As for "spacefoam" and ether, you can read all about it in our book Galileo Was Wrong: The Church Was Right. There are over 1000 pages of scientific and historical information for you to peruse through. We spend a great deal of time on ether, and the spaceform of Wheeler and Hawking. Incidentally, this is just another means of Wheeler and Hawking defying the tenets of General Relativity without actually saying so, since Einstein said that space was a vacuum and did not have a "ponderable" ether (yet, even he used the concept of ether in 1915 after he had abandoned it in 1905). Every experiment performed since Arago in the early 1800s has shown that ether exists, and by its existence it was also shown that the Earth wasn't moving in it. That is why Einstein had to invent Special Relativity - to escape the results of the dozens of interferometer experiments that showed a close to null result of resistance between Earth and ether. There is just enough ether resistance to answer for the universe rotating around the Earth, not an Earth revolving around the sun.

The Planck dimensions of the ether would answer all the questions that science has not answered since Newton. It would answer action-at-a-distance since any vibration in one part of the universe would immediately be transmitted to the remostest part in a fraction of a fraction of a second. It also answers gravity, and we cover this in GWW. It also answers how light travels and seems to have a limit of c in most environments. Many geocentrists believe this spacefoam is the firmament of Genesis 1:6-9, and its usefulness and ubiquity is the reason that so much attention is paid to it in the Genesis account. Without it the universe could not exist, for it holds everything together.

As for the universe rotating around the earth, not only can the ether distribute the Coriolis and centrifugal forces at will, it allows earth to serve as the center of mass, the very thing Newton had already admitted about the ponderable mass in the universe.

If you would like to learn more about this, you can purchase the two volumes of the Galileo Was Wrong books from us. If you live in the United States, both volumes, including shipping and handling, will come to $101.00. They are hardbound, casewrap books, that also come with a CDrom which has dozens of animations for you to view (stellar parallax, retrograde motion, etc. etc.)

    God be with you.

    Robert Sungenis, Ph.D.
